The Premium Car Services Vehicle Preservation Detailing Studio, operated by ServFaces Hungary Kft., provides a warranty for its ceramic coating services, covering certain issues that may arise for its clients. It is important to understand that vehicle surfaces are highly sensitive, and improper cleaning techniques or the use of low-quality car care tools and products can easily cause damage.

By following the methods and aftercare products we recommend, your vehicle has a strong chance of maintaining its immaculate condition for years to come. It is essential to note that the paint protection coating is not designed to allow neglect, but rather to significantly reduce the harmful chemical effects from the environment on the paintwork, while also extending the period during which the vehicle appears clean.

Period

The warranty period for the application of ServFaces Coat Ultima or ServFaces Pro Coat paint protection coatings is 36 months.

To maintain eligibility, any defect must be reported to us within 48 hours of detection.

The warranty is non-transferable and may only be claimed by the vehicle's owner or operator at the time of treatment, upon presentation of the warranty certificate and original invoice. The vehicle must also remain registered in the same country where the treatment was performed.

Exclusions

The warranty becomes void if any car detailing service other than Premium Car Services Autó Értékmegőrző Finomkozmetika uses abrasive tools (such as paint correction, machine polishing, hand polishing, waxing, color sanding, etc.) on the treated surfaces.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Neglect (lack of maintenance)

  • Accidents, vandalism, or contact of the surface with paint, dyes, or similar substances

  • Stone chips, surface rust, damage, or scratches

  • Unusual chemical fallout or spills

  • Surface sanding, paint cracking, or damage from acid rain

  • Untreated repaired areas

  • Manufacturer paint defects such as orange peel, flaking, contamination in the paint, or total delamination of paint or lacquer

The coating is not intended to protect the vehicle with only high-pressure rinsing over the years. We recommend a thorough wash using a wash mitt every 1–2 months. If the paintwork becomes heavily contaminated with limescale and even ServFaces’ prescribed decontamination method is ineffective, warranty claims will be denied as this is considered neglect.

The surface must not be exposed to acids stronger than pH 2 or alkalis stronger than pH 12.
Neglect especially includes leaving contaminants (such as bug remains, bird droppings, tree sap, or aggressive chemicals) on the surface for more than 48 hours without removal.

In the case of damage to the factory paint due to collision, accident, vandalism, or misuse, the affected areas may be re-treated per panel at the owner’s or insurance company’s expense. The owner must present the original warranty certificate and invoice for the initial treatment before the re-treatment.


Our Company Philosophy

Our philosophy is to always choose the safest and least aggressive method possible, and to inform our clients about the maximum achievable improvement—without compromising the integrity of the paint through excessive thinning.

We move the vehicles only as much as necessary to complete our work. For new cars, this typically amounts to around 100 meters. For used cars, it can be up to a few hundred meters, as the vehicle must be taken to the wash area twice—once for the initial cleaning, and once more to remove paint correction residues such as polish paste and dust. This movement takes place exclusively within a secured area on our premises, away from public traffic.

Some cars, especially Mercedes models, may display a warning regarding low starter battery levels—even if the vehicle was connected to a trickle charger during the treatment. In fact, some systems may even send a message to the owner in such cases. While we do everything we can to prevent this, due to the unpredictability of such systems, these messages may appear. If this happens, we kindly ask you to disregard them. Lithium-ion starter batteries are only charged using equipment specifically designed for this purpose.

We do not take responsibility for any pre-existing damage on the vehicle, especially if such issues are not disclosed to us in advance. Please inform us of any damage, contamination, or defects—mechanical or otherwise. In some cases, certain issues may not be visible prior to treatment but may become apparent during the process. If such a case arises, we will notify you immediately using your provided contact information and offer a repair suggestion.

After correction, existing stone chips may become more visible on the surface, as the correction paste removes dirt embedded in them. These chips can be filled with touch-up paint, which offers a permanent solution, but it does not replace painting and thus won't be flawless. Stone chips are considered pre-existing damage. If paint protection film is applied to a surface already affected by stone chips, its sole purpose will be to preserve the current condition, even after touch-up paint has been applied.


Warranty Claim Procedure

If the owner believes that a perceived damage may be covered under warranty during the warranty period, they may notify ServFaces Hungary Kft., the operator of Premium Car Services Vehicle Preservation Detailing Studio, in the following way:

Required Information and Claim Processing

All warranty claims must include the following information: name, phone number, invoice number, and a brief description of the damage.

ServFaces Hungary Kft., the operator of Premium Car Services Vehicle Preservation Detailing Studio, shall be exempt from legal liability if the owner fails to report the damage within 30 days of discovering it.

ServFaces Hungary Kft. will respond to the claim within 5 working days and will receive the vehicle during business hours or at a previously agreed appointment time.

If the warranty claim is deemed valid by ServFaces Hungary Kft., a mutually convenient time will be arranged for the repair, during which the defect in the coating will be corrected free of charge. If additional damage is present that is not covered by the warranty, these may also be repaired during the same visit at the owner's expense. Such damage may include scratches resulting from improper washing (e.g., automatic car washes, silicone squeegees).


PROPER MAINTENANCE

If you use your vehicle daily, a thorough wash once a week is usually sufficient to maintain its condition at the highest possible level. Some owners prefer to wash their car more frequently, and if that sounds like you, please remember: the more often a car is washed, the greater the chance of introducing micro-scratches or other wash-related imperfections. By using the aftercare products and tools recommended by Premium Car Services Vehicle Preservation Detailing Studio, you can significantly reduce the risk of damage.

The use of a pre-wash chemical is permitted, but it's crucial to ensure correct dilution. Most alkaline pre-washes should be diluted at a ratio of 1:100 to 1:120. If a product with a pH above 12 remains on the surface for an extended time, it may cause damage.

Automated car washes and manual washes using foam brushes can leave scratches on the paintwork and are therefore not recommended. Everything required for proper maintenance can be found in our Maintenance Cleaning service, and further guidance is available on our Aftercare page.
