WORKSHOP REGULATIONS AND RULES

EFFECTIVE: UNTIL REVOKED

By entering the workshop premises and by ordering and using the service, the Customer expressly accepts the provisions of these Workshop Regulations, regardless of whether they have read its contents.

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

The purpose of these Regulations is to clearly and transparently set out the house rules applied by ServFaces Hungary Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (1139 Budapest, Fáy u. 4.; Company Reg. No.: 01-09-339822; Tax ID: 26697550-2-41; hereinafter: the Company). The workshop provides individual workshop time and dedicated capacity for every vehicle. The Company at all times acts in accordance with its best professional knowledge and care, and provides its services to a corresponding standard.

II. CONDITION ASSESSMENT AND DOCUMENTATION

Upon receipt of the vehicle, a documented condition assessment is carried out in every case, including photographic documentation and a visual inspection report.

This documentation records the condition of the vehicle as at the time of handover and serves as authoritative evidence in the event of a dispute. The Company assumes no liability for hidden defects, problems arising from previous repairs, or the consequences of non-factory interventions.

III. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Company's employees act with care that significantly exceeds the industry average during the performance of work. The Company assumes no liability for damages that were not foreseeable prior to the service or that are revealed during the performance of work, in particular:

  • existing damage,

  • existing wear,

  • existing deterioration,

  • material fatigue,

  • damage resulting from manufacturing or design defects,

  • problems resulting from a previous faulty repair,

  • the vehicle behaving differently from the usual,

  • defects (including hidden ones) caused by third parties.

The Company assumes no liability whatsoever for previous damage, paintwork defects, deviating coating thicknesses, or the consequences of substandard repairs revealed during the service.

If a part or surface fails during the period of work under normal use, but the cause cannot be attributed to culpable conduct on the part of the Company, the Company shall not bear liability.

Subsequent statements by the Customer that are not supported by evidence (in particular: "this wasn't on it," "this didn't look like this," "I didn't hand it over like this") do not in themselves give rise to liability.

The Customer is required to hand over the vehicle to the Company with at least a 10% fuel level.

The Company assumes no liability for irregularities arising from the individual manufacturing or design characteristics of the given vehicle, nor for any damage or additional costs resulting therefrom.

IV. BATTERY AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS

  1. During the performance of work, the vehicle's doors, lights, and electrical systems may be in an open or active state, which can place additional load on the battery.

  2. The Company assumes no liability for damage resulting from a discharged, weak, or technically defective battery.

  3. In the event of a low charge, the Company may apply a trickle charger; however, no guarantee is given as to its effectiveness.

  4. Alarms, GPS, and other continuously running systems can place a load on the battery; the Company assumes no liability for damage resulting therefrom.

  5. The Customer is required to switch off any image and audio recording systems in the vehicle before handing it over (including factory-installed systems).

V. PROHIBITION OF RECORDING

Unauthorised video and audio recording is prohibited on the workshop premises. In the event of unauthorised recording, the Company may initiate legal proceedings for violation of personality rights.

VI. COLLECTION AND PARKING RULES

The Customer will be notified once the vehicle is ready. If the vehicle is not collected within 1 calendar day following the second notification, a late parking fee shall be charged. The amount of the late parking fee is HUF 39,990 gross / day.

Parking on the workshop premises is provided exclusively for the duration of the service. Parking after the completion of the service is permitted only on the basis of a prior written agreement. Any previous parking concession does not give rise to future entitlement; each case is assessed individually. The workshop is entitled to refuse a parking request without justification on capacity and operational grounds.

A vehicle left on the premises without authorisation or beyond the deadline causes a business loss to the workshop, since the work area in question would otherwise be available to serve another vehicle. In the event of unauthorised parking, the Company is entitled to charge a late parking fee and arrange for the vehicle to be towed away at the Customer's expense.

VII. WARRANTY

The Company provides a warranty on the coatings used, the film applied, and the work performed. The warranty is valid only if all three of the following conditions are met simultaneously: the product is used as intended, the prescribed maintenance protocol is fully observed, and no improper cleaning procedures are applied.

The following, in particular, do not qualify as proper maintenance: "blast" high-pressure washing, cleaning without drying, brush washing by machine or by hand (e.g. "foam brush"), as well as water that causes limescale reaching the surface and drying on it, and prolonged parking of the vehicle exposed to contamination (e.g. tree resin, bird droppings) where these are not removed in a timely manner.

Damage resulting from the above procedures is not covered by the warranty.

VIII. PAYMENT TERMS

The vehicle will be released only after the full service fee has been settled. The workshop does not offer the option of subsequent bank transfer.

IX. PROFESSIONAL DECISION-MAKING

The Company makes its professional decisions exclusively with regard to the long-term preservation of the vehicle's condition and value. If an intervention requested by the Customer is not professionally advisable, the Company is entitled to refuse to perform it.

X. PERSONAL ITEMS

The Customer is required to remove the following before handing over the vehicle:

  • personal items, cash, valuables, documents,

  • prohibited tools, narcotics, weapons, illegal items,

  • any other item that is not a factory accessory of the vehicle.

The Company assumes no liability for items left in the vehicle.

XI. FINAL PROVISION

By ordering and using the service, the Customer declares that they have read, understood, and accepted the contents of these Workshop Regulations.
