Paint Protection Film (PPF)
Paint protection film shields your car's finish from mechanical damage. For new cars, we recommend installing PPF immediately to preserve the original factory condition. With proper care, this protection can last 5-10 years depending on usage.

Why is paint protection film good?
It provides strong protection against minor parking damage, stone chips, key scratches and other harsh impacts. Your car's original paint can remain virtually untouched - by simply removing any damaged film, you restore the factory-fresh condition.
This advantage isn't just for high-value cars. For daily drivers, it means no need for expensive repainting that could take weeks - damaged film can be removed and replaced in just half a day. Your car stays in its original condition longer, with no risk of value loss from repainting.

After installATION you'll no longer have to worry about*:
🚫 Stone chips
🚫 Tree sap residue and marks
🚫 Parking dings and scratches
🚫 Key scratches
🚫 Door dings
🚫 Bug stains and bird dropping etching
🚫 Wash-induced swirl marks
*While PPF shields your paint from damage, the film itself can sustain marks. This is why we always recommend combining PPF with our Coat Ultima ceramic coating - in most cases, it provides near-total protection for the film itself.
WHY CHOOSE US?
Preparing your car's surface properly is our essential task - we remove even embedded contaminants from the surface before film installation, because it's not just dust that can get trapped under the film. We often see inadequate preparation where embedded particles ruin an otherwise perfectly clean surface.
Our studio is climate-controlled and clean. Before PPF installation, we vacuum and mop to minimize airborne dust. There's no need to take your car to multiple places - we conveniently handle the preparation, any necessary repairs, PPF installation, and ServFaces Coat Ultima ceramic coating all in one location.
You can choose between template-based computer-cut installation or hand-cut installation - just ask us which method we recommend for your specific needs.

A properly installed PPF is barely noticeable with rounded edges.

HOW DO THESE TWO PROTECTION METHODS COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER?
The ServFaces Coat Ultima ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) perfectly complement each other. While the ceramic coating primarily protects against chemical damage and makes cleaning easier, the PPF shields surfaces from mechanical impacts.
After PPF installation, our ServFaces Coat Ultima ceramic coating treats both the uncovered areas and the film itself. This prevents bug stains from burning into the film, stops bird droppings from etching into it, reduces film staining, and makes cleaning easier - significantly extending the film's lifespan.
The market also offers so-called nano films, which we don't recommend. While they have some advantages, their main drawback is that with partial coverage, untreated areas won't bead water. In these cases, the ServFaces Coat Ultima ceramic coating can be the solution, but the nano layer must be removed from the film first, as no ceramic coating will adhere to it.
Nano films have noticeably weaker water beading (hydrophobicity) compared to surfaces treated with ServFaces Coat Ultima. This is because the factory-applied nano coating is usually below average quality and it easily gets damaged during installation from stretching or heating.
Therefore, we only recommend installing polyurethane-based, glossy, self-healing films without nano coatings.

Important Notice!
Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation warnings:
- We only install PPF on undamaged, perfectly clean surfaces. If you're unsure about your car's condition, consult us for evaluation.
- At our facility, PPF installation is exclusively available as part of the ServFaces Coat Ultima ceramic coating package.
- Fresh paint requires minimum 30 days curing before PPF application. Baking the paint doesn't complete solvent evaporation.
- We apply ceramic coatings over third-party PPF at customer's own risk only.
- Nano-coated PPF requires complete polishing before ceramic application.
- Existing ceramic/nano coatings must be mechanically removed (polished) before PPF installation - adhesives won't bond properly to treated surfaces.
- Improper paint repairs may cause peeling during PPF removal, especially on factory hand-painted cars or surfaces coated too soon after painting (minimum 20-30 days wait required).
- ServFaces ceramic coatings ARE compatible with matte PPF!
