When performing ceramic treatment, the most important factor is the preparation. To ensure proper adhesion, the surfaces must be perfectly clean and free of micro-scratches to the highest possible degree.
For a new car purchase, it's advisable to bring the vehicle in its untouched state, significantly reducing both the cost and time required. This also avoids the need for paint correction, as any correction process involves some level of thinning of the paint layer.
This is how it arrives from the factory
PRISTINE Car
An untouched car is one whose paintwork has never been washed, polished, repaired, and the original protective films are still in place, meaning there are no micro-scratches on the surface.
Most cars arrive at the importer and dealership in this condition. In this state, customers rarely see the car. However, cars subjected to thorough post-manufacturing testing may not qualify for this category.
If the above criteria are met, there is likely no need for paint correction before applying a ceramic coating.

The dealer may have washed it, it might have some swirl marks already
New Car
A new car is one that has already been handed over to the customer, meaning it has been washed and prepared for delivery. The paint may have light micro-scratches, but these are not continuous across the surface. This category includes showroom cars, which are often wiped down, so micro-scratches may already be present on the surface (as shown in the picture).
These cars can certainly be treated, but there is a good chance that one or more stages of paint correction will be necessary to achieve a flawless surface. We always strive to make decisions that are in the best interest of the customer when calculating prices.
It needs paint correction
Used Car
A used car is any vehicle that has already been handed over to the owner and is in use. It has been washed multiple times or even once in a machine car wash. The paint is consistently micro-scratched.
From an automotive cosmetic perspective, the "new car" and "used car" categories may overlap until the car reaches a mileage of 2,000 to 3,000 kilometers, but this is not a rule. It is almost certain that paint correction will be necessary to achieve a flawless surface, but the car can still be treated in the same way.
